Comments: In 1968 Chevrolet made over 235,000 Camaro’s. The most exotic of those was the RPO Z/28 model of which approximately 7,000 were produced. Compared to the 69 model with over 20,000 made, the 68 Z/28 model is much rarer but more difficult to verify its originality, except for this car! This Z/28 has received a complete nut and bolt rotisserie restoration using NOS parts or restored original parts. This is a one owner car (still in the original owners title and name from 1968), documented with the original Protecto Plate, warranty book and more importantly the rare build sheet and the original sales contract. There is NO mistaking the originality of this rare Z/28 and its original options. The 68K miles are documented via the original inspection and work receipts. This car was restored to be as close to 1000 point car in competition as possible. To top it off it is finished in it’s original rare mid-year color – coded OO; Corvette Bronze. This car has been inspected and certified by Jerry MacNeish with his report available to any perspective buyer.
